Davood, Aamir, Bollywood and the Islamic Underworld | 9 mins.

Read this gallant article by Dushyant Chauhan, a young blogger. He wrote this article as an answer on Quora to the slow Islamization of Bollywood. Citing this and some of his other answers, he was banned from Quora. Many such eminent Quorans met the same fate on the forum, their depiction of bare truth being branded as communalism. Does the world end with you Mr.Adam D'Angelo? It doesn't.

Now brace yourself readers for his answer:
Lets us start with the Bollywood era around 30–40 years back when Manoj Kumar was producing stellar patriotic movies like “Purab aur Pashcim”. These movies projected India and the Hindu culture in a very very positive light. In this era one could easily see devotional songs to Hindu gods being a part of the movies with Bhajans being not uncommon. You do not see much negative portrayal of Hinduism nor any criticism.
We need to see this very interesting scenario of two very very famous Indian celebrities in this era. One is a male named Yusuf Khan and the other a female Begum Mumtaz Jehan Dehlavi who is perhaps the most beautiful woman in Indian cinema to this date.
Just in case you do not know who they are. We know them better as Dileep Kumar and Madhubala.
Now it is certainly speculative that why will they need to change their names to Hindu sounding names? Was it because at that time personalities who were somehow not Hindu did not gain as much traction there by leading them to adopt Hindu names?
Then slowly started trickling Islamic or so called Sufi music in the form of Qawwali and songs like “Allah ko Pyari hai Qurbani” started becoming popular and with that the Islamic culture. I think movies like Mughal-e-Azam and incoming of Muslim actors like Feroz Khan helped in the process. In this era you can also see the protagonist and angry Amitabh Bacchan standing in a temple and then confronting Hindu Gods.
Things were subtle till here until Bollywood had it’s first encounter with underworld dons and Muslim or Islamic Dons to be precise with Haji Mastan being the first don who started financing and producing movies. Haji Mastan happens to be Sultan Mirza of the movie 'Once upon a time in Mumbai'.
This was the triggering point of Bollywood going under the Islamic underworld control.
It is no hidden thing that the Bollywood is run by black money and controlled by organised mafia whose religious identity if taken into account is primarily Islamic.
One can see this in how Sanjay Dutt was arrested with his links to the 1993 Mumbai terror attack perpetrators. The underworld was also involved in the Gulshan Kumar killing with the wires of his killing going back to Abu Salem. When Subhash Ghai refused to sell his movie distribution then Abu Salem tried to assassinate him but the plot was foiled by the activeness of security agencies. Same goes to Rakesh Roshan when he was targeted by the mafia dons.
Some directors were killed by these dons and extortion is done on a regular basis.
In short you have to follow their path and your favorite stars can be having underground connections with dons like Dawood Ibrahim.

Salman Khan with Dawood:

Anil Kapoor with Dawood Ibrahim:

Dawood with the actress Mandakini as his mistress:

The Don Abu Salem too had an affair with the Bollywood actress Monica Bedi so the romance of the mafias and Bollywood is really really deep.
Now this connection with the Islamic underworld is simply not connected to only money or power play but also with the pushing in of Islamic ideology in India through movies, songs etc.
Previously Yusuf Khan became Dilip Kumar but now RS Dilip Kumar becomes A R Rehman. Not that I have nothing against A R Rahman as he is a wonderful musician and the pride of India.
Has anyone noticed how Muslim actresses like Mumtaz, Nargis etc. were abound in the Bollywood movies which came in around the times of Hindu Actors Dev Anand, Rajesh Khanna, Amitabh and the likes despite India being not so open at that time and those ladies having Muslim background. Now we see exactly the opposite with Hindu actresses being the majority and the scenario dominated by Muslim actors.
There is this strange thing that even talented Muslim actresses are not coming in to any movies. How many movies of Huma Qureishi do we know?
Certainly one has to notice the pattern of the tilt from Hindu domination to Islamic domination.
One can now see movies targeting Hinduism and Hindu practices. Be it the movie PK or Oh My God they invariably and primarily targeted Hinduism, it’s practices and it’s gurus.
The way Hindu gods were ridiculed in PK was really demeaning with many Hindus clapping at their own insult. I personally was tremendously sad by the portrayal of the Lord Shiva scene but then what can be done. This does not show the open mindedness of Hindus but sheer ignorance and spinelessness towards their faith.
Funny that now a tilak or teeka(A Hindu Symbol) on the forehead has by default become a negative symbol of communalism.
The Hindu community was also demonized of being superstitious and backward in the movie PK. The way the Hindu Muslim love relationship between Sushant Rajput(who played a Muslim) and Anushka Sharma(A Hindu girl) was shown it only portrayed as if all Hindus hate Muslims guys and all Muslims parents are ready to give away their daughters to Hindu guys.
But we all know it is exactly the opposite with Hindus being far more open minded and progressive than Muslims. One can easily observe how Hindu women and even men have to convert to Islam to get married and often(Not Always) in the process end up destroying their lives. I consider this scenario as a slow push to Love jihad.
Please look how Shahrukh Gauri, Saif Kareena etc. relation are always mentioned whenever there is a Hindu Muslim relationship despite of the probability in real life the situation turning very ugly but people go blind in the name of love especially if it’s Hindu Muslim.
I was stunned at the dialogue in PK which said “Jo Darta hai wo Mandir jata hai”(The one who is scared goes to the temple). Will Aamir Khan ever say “Jo Bomb phodhata hai wo Masjid jata hai”(The one who explodes a bomb goes to the mosque)? Will he ever ridicule Prophet Muhammad in this manner the way he did Lord Shiva?
One should read the brilliant article by Madhu Kishwar on this issue.
Sorry Aamir, despite all the denials PK has an anti-hindu undertone - Firstpost
Here is your social justice warrior Aamir Khan at Mecca. He does not look “scared” to me at all.

In movies it is now a strange trend to portray Hindu figures and priests as wily and cunning who are the source of all problems whereas a Muslim is always shown as the victim and as someone who is pure and pious and somehow his poverty and circumstances made him who is. Of course Hindu organisations being always the bad guys.
There is a Geo-Political manipulation side to Bollywood as well in the sense of Kashmir. Movies like Mission Kashmir, Shaurya, Haider etc. show a very negative side of India and the Indian army in Kashmir. Not a single movie has been made on the exodus of Kashmiri Hindus and Sikhs from Kashmir by Bollywood.
The Ghazal concerts of Ghulam Ali that we so admire as Pakistan India friendship initiatives are nothing more than a soft political stage of pushing in and lobbying of the Pakistani ideas and motives.
There is huge politics even in the censor board and at the time of UPA Leela Samson was inducted into the censor board who is know for her corruption and anti-Hindu bias. Also I am pretty sure Communists, Leftists and Marxists have influence over many personalities in Bollywood so Anti-Hindu stance is obvious.
Below is an excerpt from Wikipedia on Leela Samson:
Samson's tenures at Kalakshetra, Sangeet Natak Akademi and the censor board were mired with many controversies amid allegations of corruption, illegal appointments and arbitrary awarding of contracts financial irregularities, and anti-Hindu bias. It is alleged that corruption flourished in the censor board under her chairperson-ship, and the CEO of the CBFC himself was arrested by the Central Bureau of Investigation when board officials were caught red-handed accepting bribes on his behalf to clear a film for release. Also, the Comptroller and Auditor General of India indicted her for the widespread corruption and rampant financial irregularities at Kalakshetra under her watch. Subsequently, Samson had to apologize to the Madras High Court when pulled up for contempt of court due to an illegal construction activity at the Kalakshetra campus situated on prime property in Chennai. Her stint at the censor board was controversial, with Hindu groups alleging that she deliberately passed movies designed to hurt Hindu sentiments.
Samson was criticized by the Vishwa Hindu Parishad when she passed the 2014 Aamir Khan-starrer movie PK without any cuts, even after two board members resigned after it was granted certification, due to content allegedly designed to ridicule Hindu religious philosophy and hurt Hindu sentiments. She was later accused of double standards and selective anti-Hindu bias, because only a few weeks later, she refused to clear another movie MSG: The Messenger of God made by Dera Sacha Sauda founder Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh and attempted to ban it instead. This controversy ultimately forced her resignation just before her term was about to expire. Veteran Bollywood actor and a former chairperson of the censor board Anupam Kher criticized Samson for playing politics by making partisan allegations while tendering her resignation.

All of this has had it’s effect on the psyche and thought process of especially the Hindu masses. Hindus have become loathsome of their own faith and culture which happens to be the most diverse, colorful, intellectual and open culture on planet earth. The youth has little connect left with the philosophy of the Hindu faith. There is this strange romanticism for the side which is actually a hostile side.
People are accusing “all” Gurus, Yogis and Babas as fake who even in this date are playing a pivotal role in integrating the Hindu society.
I would further like to draw a parallel here between Hollywood and Bollywood which will show the humongous impact movies have on the thought process of the masses.
Hollywood movies invariably show the US as a super power that has won everywhere, has all the technology and is the savior of the planet. Though the US suffered heavily in Vietnam yet US movies somehow depict the Vietnam war as a milestone in US history. If you have seen Black Hawk Down movie it shows how heroically US forces fought in Somalia and at the end are depicted as winners but the operation was to be frank a failure.
Also just look at how religion especially the Judaeo-Christian beliefs are given a push through movies like Conjuring, Exorcism of Emily Rose and Exorcist where at the end Baptism and a Christian priest saves the day. Though I agree there are movies like Angels and Demons which show the opposite and therefore was opposed by Catholics.
But all in all this has had it’s effect not only on the psyche of American masses but the world which admires the US for it’s scientific, military and technological prowess. Americans largely remain patriotic(to an extent good) and attached to the Judaeo-Christian beliefs unlike we see in Europe.
This is simply my observation and I can be wrong.
Similarly look at the movies in Southern India where the Hindu culture is mostly shown in positive light and is visible in movies. I remember the scene of the movie Bahubali where Prabhas lifts the Shivlingam and Shiva Tandava Stotra runs at the background. It was a goosebumps giving scene.
This is in complete contrast with the Islamic underworld and Black money funded Bollywood movies which ridicule Hinduism that dominate North India.
And the difference is clearly visible that on one hand South India still is largely connected to it’s Hindu culture and traditions and on the other North India is losing out on the same. Though this is primarily due to Islamic invasions and colonialism but today movies are playing a vital role in it.
The thing is called “Social Engineering” and is certainly effective to say the least.
So now you know why there are so many devotional songs to Islam but not any towards Hinduism. The whole system is to a huge extent funded and controlled by Islamic underworld and Anti-Hindu forces.

Some info taken from the article by Madhu Kishwar: Sorry Aamir, despite all the denials PK has an anti-hindu undertone - Firstpost. Other information and analysis is at the personal level.
I need to make some clarifications here so that things become more clear.
First of all in this entire answer I have not spoken anything against any faith/religion and only pointed to how Bollywood has an underworld hand which it has.
I am not against any form of music or artist as I am a music lover myself and in this answer I have pointed to Hindu artists as well as Muslim artists. I have clearly mentioned that AR Rahman is a fine musician and the pride of India.
But I am firmly against this negative portrayal of Hindu sacred beliefs and figures. I have only pointed to the root cause of it and the slow Islamization of Bollywood which actually has taken place and I have presented facts for it.
I also want to make it clear that I am a firm critic of Abrahamic ideologies(Islam, Christianity and Judaism) because they claim to be the only true faiths while rejecting other religions. This does not make me Anti-XYZ community as I have only criticized the ideology and not abused anyone. Some people have accused me of being an Islamophobe in the comments but I call myself a critic who firmly stands by his convictions.
I do not believe in the philosophy that “All religions are the same” as it is a plain lie and line of reeking ignorance. I also firmly believe in legitimate questioning and respectful criticisms of even my faith which is the Hindu faith despite of being a devout Hindu. This is ingrained in our tradition to not to follow things blindly and bring reforms with time but not compromising with the core philosophy of the Sanatana Dharma. I also believe that Hindus(My people) to a large extent are responsible for the poor condition of their faith and society as they have become indifferent to anything that happens to their society and are living in silos. They do not mind to even make a basic understanding of the Sanatana Dharma and it’s humongous philosophy, literature, arts, customs and beliefs.
I do not believe that satire or blatant mocking of any belief can help in a serious discussion. Satire and making fun of other beliefs is a “Western concept” which invariably will cause friction and problems between communities. What is needed is the Indian practice of Shastrartha which is a civil intellectual discussion over an issue and any side that loses has to accept the ideology of the other even if it goes against them.
Also I do not say that we need to follow a religious figure blindly but saying all Babas, Yogis and Gurus are fake and liars is simply wrong. Jagatguru Adi Shankaracharya, Vivekananda, Dayananda Saraswati and even Baba Ramdev have done huge service to Hindus and the Hindu society. Yes there are some bad apples but not all are like that.
The Naga Sadhus which we see in the Kumbh Mela are the saviors of Hinduism who fought against Islamic invaders to save the Sanatana Dharma. They have martial skills matched by none.
At the end I would say that the mockery of Hinduism and it’s figures is not limited to songs but films, documentaries, books and plays as well. At the end this answer is to provoke a thought and to expose what is going on beneath the garb of arts and music.
